What is a blog, anyway? I can’t remember exactly when the word entered the lexicon, but I did most of my growing beforehand, I’m sure. Wikipedia tells me the term was first used in the late 1990s to refer to a new form of social networking, a “weblog,” as its name implies, with the most recent posts at the top, followed by its history in chronological order.
I have a feeling that I won’t be great at this. Never liked keeping a diary, hate having to do things on a regular schedule, even my laundry. That doesn’t mean I won’t get around to it, but as in many other aspects of life, no guarantees. However, I do plan to stick to posts that reflect the subject matter and places featured in my books.
